With effect from 1 September 2015 nearly all current technology programmes will be merged into more comprehensive bachelor’s programmes. As a result, the number of technology study programmes will see a significant decrease: the 65 current CROHO programmes will be brought down to 34 CROHO programmes. They are referred to as ‘stamopleidingen’ (basic study programmes), the current programmes will become differentiation areas.
What this means for IGAD.
The current Game Architecture & Design programme will form the new basic programme Creative Media and Game Technologies. To this end, the admission requirements relating to previous education have been revised: ‘MBO-4’, ‘HAVO’ all profiles plus mathematics ‘a’ or ‘b’ for the CM profile, ‘VWO’ all profiles; while maintaining selection procedures.
